Entering Divine Life
Entering Divine Life is a workshop developed by Claire for people who want to engage in a contemporary way with the Christian tradition.
Our traditional naming of God in Christianity is out of date – failing, for so many, to offer entry to the divine life. This workshop explores a new naming of God, appropriating and building on the Christian story, using movement, music, silence and words, with opportunities for discussion and conversation, to create a space in which participants can explore their own stories, in relation to a re-imagined divinity. The framework is drawn from Christianity in dialogue with depth psychology. The aim is to offer entry to a contemporary vision and practice of human flourishing.
In June 2013, Rowan Williams, Master of Magdalene College, hosted the workshop in the Master’s Lodge, where he lives.
